Homeowners Association Board
Board Meeting August 8, 2011

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM by the President, Sharon Cook. Attendees were board members Sharon Cook, Leon Leonard, Karen Purvis, Maureen Walsh, Don Kelley, Marilyn Fangman, and Sam Radakovitz. Also attending was Bob Cook, D&D Chairman.

Secretary’s Report. The minutes of the July 18 board meeting were approved as amended.

Monument Sign. The board looked at the locations for signs to be sure there was enough room in front of the fence on each side. The board voted to put up two signs. A committee of Sharon, Maureen, Marilyn, Karen and Leon will go to the sign shop Tuesday, August 9 at 12:45 to look at colors and other design features. After that visit, Don will contact the sign company to authorize the purchase.

D and D Committee. Letters will be sent based on the observations during the walk around. There have been noise complaints about renters that have been addressed with the owners. Any complaints received by board members should be shared with the board.

Special Projects Committee. Sam got information about block watch from Ryan at the Puyallup PD. He will post information on the website.

Fence Repairs. Homeowners are responsible for repairing their fences, even the outside fence on 7th if they are damaged. The HOA will be responsible for painting the fence.

Agenda for Next Meeting. Requirement for D&D approval for trim repainting will be discussed. Policy regarding outside fence replacement will be discussed.

Meeting Dates. The next meeting will be September 12th 7 PM at Marilyn’s home, 504 29th Avenue.
